Services offered:
Trash removal is provided by Waste Management, and pickup is done,
Village wide, on Mondays along with recycling pickup. Residents are provided with one trash can. You can choose a 64 gallon or 96 gallon can. One recycling bin is provided. In regards to recycling please place papers in a paper or plastic bag to help with the blowing away of trash, break up cardboard boxes, and crush cans if possible. If a replacement garbage can or recycle bin is needed there is a fee. Please contact the Village for more information.
Brush pickup is available to residents at no cost once a month between the months of April to October only. Brush pickup includes small bush and tree trimmings or debris from storm damage. No pick up will be made for large tree removal. Please bundle and stack the brush neatly on the parkway.
The Public Works Department does Tree trimming on parkway trees in conjunction with contractors. The Village will inform residents when tree trimming will occur.
The Public Works Department provides Parkway tree plantings. New construction ordinances require parkway trees be provided by the Builder or Developer in commercial, industrial and residential projects. Please contact the office for species and size requirements.
Snow removal is provided by the Public Works Department on all Village owned streets and alleys. When a snow storm is forecasted, park cars in driveways and off of public street so the Village snowplows can clean the streets curb to curb. |
